Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Items

Epic E-waste reserves the right to refuse any items that we deem hazardous (e.g., leaking batteries, mercury-containing lamps) or outside our recycling scope. By submitting equipment, you represent that you have the legal right to dispose of it.

2. Data Security & Liability

•    Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s sole responsibility to back up and/or wipe all personal data from hard drives, SIM cards, and storage devices prior to drop-off.
•    Our Liability: While we employ industry-standard destruction methods, Epic e-waste is not liable for any data remains on devices or for the loss of any data once the equipment is in our possession.
•    Transfer of Ownership: Ownership of the equipment transfers to Epic E-waste once a receipt is issued or the items are left at our facility. Items cannot be returned once processed.

3. Fees and Payments

•    Service Fees: Certain items (like CRT monitors or large appliances) may incur a recycling fee. These fees are non-refundable.
•    Estimates: Any quotes provided online or over the phone are estimates until the equipment is physically inspected.

4. Prohibited Items

We do not accept "non-e-waste" hazardous materials, including but not limited to:

•    Radioactive materials
•    Bio-hazards or medical waste
•    Pressurized containers or fire extinguishers

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epic E-waste shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services or the handling of your electronic waste.
